Effective Date: 3/27/2019
To participate in Indiegogo Guaranteed Delivery (“Program”), you and your Campaign must meet all eligibility requirements and you must accept these Guaranteed Delivery terms (“Terms”) which are part of the Indiegogo Terms of Use. Your participation in the Program will be subject to the eligibility requirements outlined below and in our Guaranteed Delivery Policy. All terms not defined here have the same meaning as in the Indiegogo Terms of Use, which is incorporated herein by reference.
Eligibility
Indiegogo will determine eligibility requirements for Campaigns in the Program as set forth in the Guaranteed Delivery Policy. Indiegogo may establish an evaluation period to evaluate your delivery record and may require that you meet minimum campaign standards to participate in this Program. Your eligibility for Program will be evaluated when you opt-in and periodically while you are in the Program. Indiegogo may, at any time, limit or terminate your participation in the Program without notice to you.
Indiegogo reserves the right at any time to alter the eligibility requirements for the Program or exclude any Campaign from the Program.
Benefits
Campaigns participating in the Program will receive a Guaranteed Delivery badge on the Campaign page and additional promotion on the Indiegogo website and in Indiegogo marketing channels.
Reserved Funds and Disbursement
Campaigns participating in the Program are subject to the withholding and disbursement schedules set forth in the Guaranteed Delivery Policy. All Campaigns will also be subject to the Reserved Funds Policy.
Late Delivery & Financial Responsibility
If a Perk associated with a Guaranteed Delivery Campaign is delivered outside of the guaranteed delivery time, the Campaign Owner and Backers will have the options set forth in the Guaranteed Delivery Policy.
The Campaign Owner is financially responsible for any costs resulting from your failure to comply with your obligations under these Terms. You may be excused from your financial responsibility where the failure was due to circumstances such as severe weather, natural disaster, national emergency, labor strike, or governmental act. Any amount owed to your Backer or for additional processing fees will be deducted from your disbursement or charged against your automatic payment method.
The list of Eligible Carriers is available at https://www.easypost.com/carriers. You will be financially responsible for late delivery if you fail to meet your delivery commitment or if you do not upload tracking information from an Eligible Carrier.
Indiegogo Guaranteed Delivery Program
Indiegogo Guaranteed Delivery will cover Campaigns that have received a Guaranteed Delivery badge. A Backer may request a refund the day after the guaranteed delivery date for their Perk if the Perk has not been received by the guaranteed delivery date. The refund will be reviewed and processed in accordance with the Guaranteed Delivery Policy.
Disagreements
In the event that you are notified that you will be held financially responsible for missing the guaranteed delivery date but you disagree, you may contact Indiegogo to document your disagreement. Indiegogo may require additional information to evaluate and resolve the issue. Failure to provide requested information in a timely manner will result in Indiegogo closing your request. Regardless of your disagreement, your Backer will receive the refund immediately and if Indiegogo determines that you have financial responsibility, such amounts will be deducted from your disbursement or charged against your automatic payment method.
Updates and Discontinuation
Indiegogo has the right to alter, amend, replace, suspend temporarily, and/or discontinue permanently, the Program without notice to you. These Terms may be amended from time to time and will remain in effect so long as you continue to participate in the Program.
General
These Terms apply to you in addition to the Indiegogo Terms of Use and all other policies, all of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Where there is any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms, the Terms of Use, or any other agreement or policy between you and Indiegogo, these Terms will control as to all matters that are explicitly addressed in these Terms. For all matters not explicitly discussed in these Terms, the Terms of Use and other agreements or policies will control.
